Please review all notes below prior to registering! 

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

1. Participants in our 2023 Weekend Workshop @ Haystack must follow the online registration process to be placed in a workshop. Each participant must register themselves, using one email address per registrant.
2. Registration opens online beginning February 8, 2023, at 12:00 pm. Students select first and second choices for workshops and accommodations, with the understanding that workshops and accommodations are on a first-come-first-served basis, and waitlists are created as options fill. 
3. A deposit of $100 is collected at registration and is only refundable after Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in the event there is not a place in either first or second choices (workshop or accommodations). MCA will keep all registrants informed of movement on waitlists and openings.
4. Your placement in a workshop or on a waitlist will be chosen based on your registration time stamp. MCA will contact you after registration to let you know which one of your workshops, accommodation choices OR waitlist you are registered on.
5. Membership Status: Please note, that after registration you will be billed based on your MCA membership status. To expedite the process, please update your MCA membership if you have not already, otherwise you will be billed at the cost of a non MCA member.
6. COVID-19 VACCINATION: An image of your up-to-date vaccination record will be required after registration and your placement in a workshop. Your registration will not be considered complete without providing this record. 
   *MCA may require an updated record or current status (boosters status) as the Weekend Workshop date approaches.

IMPORTANT: PAYMENT AND DEADLINE

Your invoice will have a deadline, if you miss the deadline without paying or contacting to us to set up an alternate payment plan we will offer your space to someone on the waitlist. 

Your payment balance will be based on your accommodation assignment, 2023 membership status and, if applicable, studio material fees. To expedite this process please renew your membership after you fill out your registration form if you have not done so already. 
 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received prior to Thursday, March 11 2023 will be refunded total workshop fees paid to date LESS the $100 non-refundable deposit.
(Example, $600 - $100 = $500, $500 is refunded.)

Cancellations received after Thursday, March 11 2023 will be refunded 50% of workshop fees paid to date, excluding the $100 non-refundable deposit.
(Example, $600 - $100 = $500, $250 is refunded.)

Cancellations received on and after  Thursday, April 27, 2023, will receive no refund.

In either case, the MCA membership fee is non-refundable.
 

April: You will receive general information from the MCA about the Weekend Workshop and specific information about your workshop from your instructor.
