I have worked with wood all my life as an avocation. Most furniture was created for personal use and gifts. Incidental sales and commission work did occur.
I began wood turning in 2012 as a hobby. Gifts began to result in commission sales. I joined the Rosemont Artist Guild as a charter member in 2016 participating in the annual Rosemont Holiday Show each year. Neighborhood pop up driveway sales in 2017 led to exhibiting in local craft fairs the summer of 2018 at a variety of locations including: Audubon Harvest Fair, East End Vend, and MCA Open Studio Weekend. Covid closures have hampered my participation in juried events that I have been accepted to exhibit. My work and sales are limited to one-of-a-kind design pieces. Production pieces are typically a series of design variations with little duplication of all elements.
