About
I have been working with porcelain since early 2000s. After running my own studio and working in several galleries I decided to start teaching at Portland Pottery. I have been teaching at Portland Pottery since 2017.
I am a small batch ceramic artist working primarily in porcelain. I’m drawn to porcelain because of its durability, coupled with a hint of unpredictability. Once the clay is sufficiently dried, I trim to create a uniquely textured finished product. It is then fired in a soda kiln I had built at my home. You can find most of my work at Center for Maine Craft in Gardiner and on my website.
