I carve Maine hardwoods, particularly burls and collars, to liberate the story hidden within each chunk. My work is organic, free from artificial dimensions, angles and planes.

Each piece should be visually attractive from any angle and delightful to handle. Many pieces can be positioned or assembled in multiple orientations. Some pieces are useful as utensils, platters or bowls.
