My work combines both traditional metal smithing techniques and cutting edge, high tech computer generated 3d printing. I rely more on the desired effect I want to achieve then decide what materials would help my designs come to fruition. My surface designs are sketched then transferred to my computer where I alter the size and scale. I then cut and fabricate these pieces with the aid of a CNC milling machine or 3D printer. Combining these high tech pieces with traditional metal smithing techniques, I create unique small scale sculptures that elevate common materials to precious heirlooms that can be worn everyday.
