Village Handcraft is the creative project of woodcarver and broom maker Eric McIntyre. The shop, located at 52 Water St., Wiscasset, ME, is equal parts production workshop, retail craft store for McIntyre's work, and teaching space for classes in carving and broom making in the winter season. McIntyre's work focuses on using hand tool woodworking methods to create functional, beautiful items for daily use, including brooms, spoons, carved vessels, and other wooden goods.
The storefront is open to the public Thursday-Saturday 11-5 from May through December.
