At LunaBee, beekeeping has been our family’s shared passion since 2017. Tucked away in South Portland, Maine, our small operation started as a family project with our 12-year-old daughter. All our products, from the seasonal varietal honey to the silky smooth goodness of our creamed honey and the spiced warmth of our chili-infused hot honey, are born from the hard work of our own bees. Join us in appreciating the simple joys of nature and the genuine efforts behind every jar we share with you.
LunaBee came from combining the name of our beloved dog Luna and our beekeeping hobby. Luna was a cherished member of our family and brought so much joy into our lives. When we decided to start our business we felt it was fitting to incorporate her name. Although she is no longer with us, we know that every jar of honey is a tribute to Luna’s spirit and our hardworking bees. Our hope through LunaBee is that we can continue to spread love and happiness like Luna did one jar of honey a time.
