Our Busy Hive Creations is a company from West Gardiner, Maine, that specializes in Embroidered home goods and Wearable art pieces. My designs are created from personal photos and media art, which is then translated into machine embroidery files. Each design is inspired by Maine's beautiful landscape, from the coastlines to the mountains, its wildlife, and flowers from my garden. I embroider the designs onto home goods items such as tea towels, placemats, table runners, lap quilts, coasters, mug rugs, and more. The wearable art pieces are vintage clothing such as jeans, jackets, and more that are upcycled with original embroidery designs to give them new life.

I started embroidering when I was six years old, and it has been a lifelong passion. I left my accounting career a couple of years old to follow my passion and start my own business. I have enjoyed working with customers to find the right piece from my inventory or take their art or ideas and create customized pieces for them.
