I wrote this book in rhyming poem format to honor my Nana’s artwork, which was kept hidden away in a box. It was a wonderful surprise for her and certainly one of my biggest achievements that I am more than proud of. She was able to enjoy the book and all the festivities surrounding it during it’s first year, before she passed away in June of 2016. I am an environmentalist, so the purpose of this book is to foster a love for nature and the environment in children, while also enjoying that ever-so-precious time, bird watching, with their grandparents.
