Karen Jordan Allen began creating her photographic nature mandalas in 2012 and now sells them in shops and at fairs as Peaked Mountain Mandalas. She crafts her designs step-by-step from her own photos, mostly of natural objects but also of anything that may catch her eye. Her photos are taken around Peaked Mountain in Sebago, her home in Hallowell, and wherever she may travel in Maine and beyond.
