This star is made of of paper mache, then covered with hand-painted and decorated paper. We think these stars are lovely year-round. Make a garland, or save them for special holiday decor! We just love how their organic shape gives their form a dancing motion and a special handmade flair.

This ornament: Opalescent sky blue with flecks of silver and glitter (it’s sealed in a clear coat – no glitter getting where you don’t want it!)
Dimensions: 3 x 3 x 1.5″ with a 6″ gold thread (you can trim this down if you’d rather it have a shorter standard ornament string length).

About the Artist

Jeanne Seronde Perkins
Bar Harbor, Maine

Born and raised in New England, Seronde Perkins has been living and making art on Mount Desert Island for close to forty years. She exhibits in Maine, as well as other states in the U.S. and abroad. Her work is in over 100 private collections. She also leads workshops for children and adults in watercolor, silk painting and collage.
