Member to Member Workshop Series:

The MCA’s Member to Member Workshop Series connects members and celebrates resources within our member community.  The series offers opportunities to learn something new, engage with other artists and spend time in a peer’s workspace. Members (at any level) are invited to register.

MCA members offer workshops in their studios – teaching or sharing something they know with other MCA members. Workshops can take the form of lectures, hands on skill building, make-and-takes or other structures and concepts.

Through Member-to-Member Workshops we seek to access and share resources right here among us, to connect in beautiful, functional or wild workspaces and offer a learning experience in a serious but informal way. We’re grateful for our talented and passionate community of members who are eager to share their workspaces and a bit of their time! In return for their teaching, member-instructors benefit from grass roots story-telling, connecting with fellow Maine craft artists interested in their work, fine tuning a technique and gaining confidence in teaching. Workshop participants benefit by learning something new, trying a new technique, networking, problem solving and branching out of their studio practice for an afternoon.

Workshops will be added on an ongoing basis in chronological order.
