Pop-Up shops will be scheduled every Saturday from June 29 – August 31, 2019
Hours: 10am – 3pm
Location: 24 Service Plaza Dr. West Gardiner, ME 04345
Booth Fee: $25 + 20% suggested donation of sales to Maine Crafts Association. Basic or Professional membership is required to participate.
Center for Maine Craft pop-up shops are scheduled during busy tourism and holiday seasons to provide members with exclusive promotion of their work. Available to MCA Basic & Professional members, these pop-up shops allow Maine artists & craftspeople to engage new customers, display seasonal and personalized merchandise, promote brand awareness and expose new inventory not typically available in the Center for Maine Craft.
Positioned between Maine’s two major highways, I-95 and I-295, the West Gardiner Service Plaza services thousands of travelers daily during peak season (June through late August) and the holidays (November through December). Featured vendors are selected for specific dates based on these travel trends and historic Center sales.
Past vendors have exhibited the following media: Book signings by Maine authors, clothing & accessories, pottery, prepared food, bath & body products, and jewelry.
Registration is now open for Saturdays at the Center, a weekly pop-up shop program held seasonally at the Center for Maine Craft in West Gardiner.
Vendors are selected on a case-by-case basis. Participants must be Maine residents, and be (or become) a Basic or Professional member of the MCA to qualify. Making a jury appointment at the Center for Maine Craft prior to booking is recommended to non-members.
