A Part of the Maine Community College System
Maine Crafts Association members are invited to join an informational Zoom meeting on Tuesday, June 6th @ 1pm to learn more about advancing your business via new skills & classes, offered by the Development of Maine’s Workforce.
Join the Compact and get money to pay for classes, attend a conference, or get skills you need to make your business better!
Do you need training in marketing, social media, accounting or a new technique to help build your business? The Harold Alfond Center for the Development of Maine’s Workforce is offering money to help pay for classes and other training to help your business.
- Choose training from any company or college that helps your business.
- Not sure where to find classes? They will help you find a class to meet your needs.
- It’s easy to apply.
By joining the Compact you will be able to access money – up to $1,200 per employee for the next three years that will pay up to 50% of class costs. This includes small businesses like yours where you may be the only employee.
It’s easy to join the Compact and has no strings attached – you are under no obligation to use the money. The funds are provided by a grant from the Harold Alfond Foundation to help Maine businesses to upskill their staff.
This is a great opportunity to gain the knowledge you need to better your work and grow your business.
