Bonnie Bishoff and J.M. Syron

Bonnie Bishoff and her artistic partner and husband, J.M. Syron, have been collaborative artists since 1987. As furniture makers they explored the use of polymer as a decorative surface, sculptural element and illuminated vessel. Their work presently focuses on sculptural objects and art jewelry, combining polymer, metal and wood. Their exhibitions range from galleries- national and abroad to fine craft shows with the Smithsonian and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Museum exhibitions have included the Peabody Essex, The Museum of Art and Design in New York and the permanent collection of the Racine Art Museum. Their work presently focuses on sculptural objects and art jewelry, combining polymer, metal and wood.
