Whitney Gill studied fine art & ceramics at the University of Maine, and has continued to refine her craft through the guidance and support of many great Maine artists & organizations. She is passionate about helping Maine artists establish connections and gain new skills to grow their creative businesses. She began working at the Center for Maine Craft in 2013 as a sales associate, followed by assistant manager, and became manager in 2017.
Raised in Western Maine, Whitney admired the artists in her family and rural community, and strived to make her own creative contribution to the world around her. Whitney now lives in Bowdoin with her spouse and two children. In her free time, she enjoys working in her pottery studio, playing music, and visiting Maine’s lakes and mountains as often as possible.
