The Bliss Fund

The Bliss Fund was made in honor and appreciation of former MCA Executive Director, Sadie Bliss. Symbolic of joy and contentment, the fund acknowledges Sadie’s long standing dedication to uplifting the legacy of craft in Maine by providing scholarships to artists participating in the Haystack Weekend Workshop and other MCA programming. By supporting educational and professional development opportunities, the Bliss Fund plays a vital role in nurturing Maine’s craft community by removing financial barriers. It empowers artists to enhance their skills, expand their networks, and grow their businesses. Contributions of any amount play a vital role in broadening access and ensuring that our programs are enriched by the presence of artists from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
